Sun Ballast racking systems make solar design and installation faster and easier. By integrating both the racking and ballast into a single pre-cast component, they significantly reduce assembly time and minimize installation challenges.

Additionally, all Sun Ballast systems require no roof penetrations and can be placed directly on any flat roof, ensuring high wind resistance. The 51 kW solar system in the photo was installed by our customer EIS Solar in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (USA) using the 5° Connect system (also available in a 10° inclination). This system interconnects all ballasted racks into a highly wind-resistant network, evenly distributing weight across the entire roof surface.

The Connect system is also compatible with No-Flex, a specialized kit for large panels that provides two additional clamping points in the central section of the module, further enhancing system stability. Like all Sun Ballast racking systems, the ones used for this installation come pre-equipped with M8 threaded inserts for secure module attachment. Additionally, the use of PowerClamp steel clips helped accelerate grounding operations, ensuring a fast and efficient installation process.

Connect System

Lightweight, ultra-reliable, and built to withstand extreme weather—the Connect System revolutionizes ballasted racking by integrating all supports into a reinforced, wind-resistant network. This interconnected design minimizes roof load while maximizing stability and durability.
