The 18 kW solar system shown in the photo was installed by our customer Intelligent Solar Services on the sheathed flat roof of a residential building in Berlin, MA. The 10° Connect system not only preserves the integrity of the sheath membrane but also evenly distributes the weight load across the entire surface. In this configuration, all modules and ballasted racking are interconnected into a single network, effectively redistributing wind loads for enhanced stability.
The PowerClamp steel clips serve as an electrical bridge, securely bonding the modules while providing a strong and durable clamping system. Like all Sun Ballast racking systems, the Connect system features pre-cast M8 threaded inserts, and is available in different weight variations to suit specific installation requirements.
