With Sun Ballast racking systems, installing solar panels on flat roofs is simple, fast, and secure. The wind tunnel-tested, patented, and UL2703-certified concrete ballasted racking functions as both the structure and ballast, streamlining both assembly and design. Plus, all Sun Ballast systems are non-penetrating and simply rest on the roof, ensuring maximum durability even in high-wind conditions.

The 80 kW system shown in the photo was installed by Bliss Solar LLC in New York, using the Zero system (0° inclination). This solution interconnects the modules into a single, solid racking network, evenly distributing weight across the entire roof. The Zero system is particularly effective in managing row shading and minimizing visibility from outside the building, optimizing aesthetics.

All Sun Ballast racking systems include pre-cast M8 threaded inserts, while the “PowerClamp” steel clips act as electrical bridges between panels, making grounding faster and more efficient.

Zero System

Quick clamping on both sides, easy design and minimal visual impact: the Zero system secures modules on both long and short sides, arranged in single rows or as a continuous surface.

With 0° inclination, it avoids row shading, stays discreet, and meets surface constraints. Compatible with all module sizes, it simplifies and speeds up installation, even on residential buildings.
