Durable, quick to install, and UL2703 certified, Sun Ballast racking systems make industrial solar installations significantly easier. They reduce installation times while ensuring maximum panel stability. Unlike traditional metal racking, Sun Ballast systems integrate both the racking and ballast into a single component, eliminating unnecessary steps and complications. Plus, since no roof penetrations are required, the integrity of the roofing material remains completely intact.

This impressive 135 kW solar system was installed in Colchester, Vermont (USA) by our customer Aegis Renewable Energy Inc. using two variations of the Connect system with 5° and 15° inclinations. Sun Ballast racking systems come in different weights and inclinations, offering complete flexibility for any flat roof solar installation.

The Connect system is compatible with all panel models. Depending on the panel size, support parameters, and project-specific requirements, modules can be clamped at multiple points by adding central ballasts, enhancing resistance to wind and other weather conditions. The inter-connected ballast network evenly distributes weight across the roof, preventing stress points, while the system’s adaptability—along with the absence of roof penetrations—makes navigating obstacles on-site much easier.

All Sun Ballast racking systems are made from high-quality concrete, ensuring exceptional durability. Thanks to the material’s low porosity, they maintain a long lifespan even in areas with heavy rainfall or extreme temperature variations.

Connect System

Lightweight, ultra-reliable, and built to withstand extreme weather—the Connect System revolutionizes ballasted racking by integrating all supports into a reinforced, wind-resistant network. This interconnected design minimizes roof load while maximizing stability and durability.
